I made this gif set because I felt an irresistible urge to show my gratitude - for the simple fact that these stories exist.  They have already became a part of me; they’ve taught me things, made me laugh and cry and given me a lot of great memories. I also want to thank the tumblr fandoms for sharing all these fantastic experiences with me - seriously, it’s like we’ve became a huge family. Can we just stop and appreciate Nicki Minaj’s face for a moment. She looks genuinely very concerned for Josh here, like she thinks he was actually in an arena full of kids trying to kill him, and is confused as to why no one else finds this as shocking as she does.

What do you expect? People from the Capitol just don’t understand.

The Reaping from Mr Mellark’s POV.

My eyes find the girl - the woman - I had once hoped to marry in the crowd as her daughter’s name is called, only for her other daughter to volunteer in her place. Katniss Everdeen. I find the back of Peeta’s head in the crowd, blonde hair shining in the sun. I barely have time to take pity for him, watching the girl he’s so admired all his life stand up and accept her probable death. Because the boys are being called, and it’s Peeta Mellark. He steps forward, and for a second I see a tiny boy running home and telling me that he’s met the girl he wants to marry and she’s called Katniss. 

Oh, my boy. My poor boy.
